A bilingual book design project by Peter P. Dobrev for TANGRA TanNakRa. The Deities of the Thracians is a richly illustrated hardcover edition exploring the gods, sacred places and rituals of ancient Thrace.
Written by Valeria Fol and Dimitar Popov, this 328-page volume presents parallel Bulgarian and English text alongside full-colour illustrations. The project belongs to Dobrev Atelier’s portfolio of book design, editorial design and cultural heritage publications.
The volume examines Thracian Orphism, the Great Mother Goddess, the Supreme God and the Thracian Horseman. Images of sacred sites and ritual objects accompany the study of ancient beliefs and their lasting presence in Bulgarian folk culture.
